Kendall Indian Hammocks and MDC Env. Center

This morning I birded Kendall Indian Hammocks for 2 hours. Nice weather. Oddly, no Blue Jays or Red-bellied Woodpeckers seen. Several birds were singing: several Cardinals, Blue-headed Vireo and BG Gnatcatchers.

Later in the afternoon my nephew celebrated his birthday at Miami-Dade College Environmental Center in Kendall. I was able to get some birding in. A White-eyed Vireo was singing but I did not see it.
