To make things even better with this find, the SNPL was actually hanging out in the shorebird roost set aside in 2011 when Least Terns attempted to nest in the park. They never tried again but all the wintering birds love it. Thanks to Crandon Park Naturalist Alex Martinez for driving me around the beach, originally noticing the bird and pointing it out!
