Crandon Beach and Gardens

The beach weather was not good today. Overcast and windy. Syill, as I had not birded a beach in a long time I headed over to Crandon Beach and Garden. The following were seen:

White Ibis
Sandhill Crane (part of garden collection)
Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture

Semipalmated Plover
Piping Plover
Ruddy Turnstone
Sanderling
Least Sandpiper
Short-billed Dowitcher
Laughing Gill
Herring Gull
Ring-billed Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
Great Black-backed Gull
Royal Tern
Caspian Tern
Mourning Dove
E. Collared Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker

Later at Kendall Indian Hammocks highlights were Black-throated Green Warbler and a perched immature Red-tailed Hawk.
