Itinerary TAS Trip Saturday January 24, 2015
1. Meet 8:00 AM at Tall Cypress Natural Area--directions on TAS calendar. Bathrooms available. Bring lunch. It is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers-not sandals.
2. Quiet Waters County Park
Directions--from Tall Cypress turn left onto Sample. Continue to Powerline (you will cross Rt. 441 and Lyons Rd). Turn left (north) onto Powerline. Just after entering Deerfield Beach park will be on your left. Bathrooms available. We will eat lunch here.
Target birds for the trip will be:
Bald eagle (nesting)
Great horned owl (nesting)
Wintering songbirds
