I just saw the Lark Sparrow this morning. As you enter the park, rather than taking the boardwalk, turn left on the grassy trail. Then turn right so you are walking west along the southern edge of the park. At the first "t" intersection there is a bench. If you sit and wait patiently they will usually appear, feeding on the ground. I only saw one this morning. Good luck!
