Margaret England of Hendry/Glades Audubon had someone on her STA 5 bird tour yesterday (Sat, Jan 16) who had a red footed booby land on his boat off of south Florida (Miami or upper keys). We are unclear from his report if it was Friday or earlier in the week.
Sorry I don't have more info, awaiting photos, video & a report from the man who encountered it.
