After leading the Crandon Park shorebird walk I went over to Virginia Key to try and relocate the Wilson's Warbler found during the Miami CBC. I got very brief looks at the bird through the Brazilian Pepper as I was watching an Orange-crowned Warbler in the mixed feeding flock including a Blue-headed Vireo, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Prairie and Palm Warbler.
As I was watching the WIWA a Cuban Crescent fluttered by and began feeding in the surrounding Spanish Needles. Great year bird and a lifer butterfly!
