The correct date for this trip was Tuesday July 2, not June 2. That's what happens when you post a trip when you are tired.

The weather was hot but the seas were calm for a great day of birding.
I was out for 8 hours today as far as 22 miles from Islamorada. The
water depth was as deep as 740 feet, below is a list of the birds seen.

Cory's Shearwater 10
Audubon's Shearwater 84!
Wilson's Storm-Petrel 19, two different groups sitting on the water, no
other petrels seen.
Royal Tern 1, it sure had me thinking Tropicbird, but not so, this was
about 20 miles out.
Least Tern 4, also about 20 miles out.
Bridled Tern 22
Sooty Tern, hundreds!
Brown Noddy 12
