Over 1000 American Coot overnighting in West Lake, Everglades National Park

Hi All. My family and I were extending the Coot Bay Christmas Bird Count today in Everglades National, and we watched over 1000 American Coot overnighting in West Lake. Frisky, skimming behavior sounded like it was raining. This is a conservative estimate. Hope it's helpful.
