Fellowing Deering naturalist Elias Horna just messaged me saying he was walking through the trail and came across the bird again this morning at 8am. He sat down and the bird actually got close allowing for PHENOMENAL photographs - I have uploaded one to my Flickr, linked bellow. I will be leading a group again tomorrow if anyone is interested. We're meeting at 7:15am in the Deering Estate at Cutler Visitor Center parking lot to begin walking by 7:30am sharp. Hope to see you there.
