Scouting for the Kendall count, I had a count week Tennessee Warbler on the 26th in the Snapper Creek Lakes neighborhood off of Old Cutler and South of the West section of Matheson Hammock. The neighborhood is only accessible on foot or bike.

The bird was on Snapper Creek Rd. in between Sabal Palm Ave. and Lakeside Dr. Unfortunately it wasn't relocated on count day and I didn't have my camera with me when I saw it (was birding by bike). This neighborhood is great for wintering warblers as it has a ton of mature oaks and other trees, and houses with large lots with minimal traffic.

The bird appeared to be an immature and had a lot of yellow on it similar to how many of them look in the fall. It was with a feeding flock of several species including Worm-eating and Black-throated Blue.
