I spotted the yellow-headed blackbird and got some very nice photos of him really showing off his color in the late afternoon sun while standing up on the reeds...same area. The neotropicals were all still there in late afternoon, as was the egyptian goose. I didn't have luck spotting the virginia rail, but had a fun series with an otter who really was playing around both in and out of the water...so that made up for some.
