This is a City park inside the City of Oakland Park. The sign says: "Veterans Park" at "3401 NW 21 Avenue". The only parking lot is at the S end of the Park, and has about 8 parking spaces, and is NW of NW 33rd CT & SW of NW 34th ST, and is open from roughly 8 A.M. to roughly 5 P.M. Outside those hours, the parking lot is closed with a locked chain & Stop sign. The Park has 2 elevated boardwalks along the E edge of the Lake.
Unclear if this Lake is an official part of the Park. The S shore of the Lake has 3 finger canals into a residential area. The SW corner of the Lake can be seen from N Oakland Forest DR (where there is a tiny park with no parking). The N shore of the Lake abuts a mowed-grass pedestrian path atop a levee (Lady's Lake Trail). So far, the best name I have found for this Lake is: "Blue Heron Lake". This Lake is almost immediately S of the even larger "Lake Emerald" (a private lake surrounded by multistory condos/apartments).
