The first record of Bullock's Oriole from Florida was a first-year male collected by Dennis Paulson on 11 Jan 1957, three miles east of Princeton at the corner of SW 109th Avenue and 252nd Street.

Formerly part of the collection at the University of Miami, the specimen (UF 1403/FMNH 375099) is now at the Field Museum of Natural History at Chicago. I'm looking at videograbs of the specimen as I write this. (I videotaped the specimen in 2001 when it was still in Florida).

A semi-dated paper on the occurrence of Bullocks Oriole in Florida, including reanalyses of several purported specimens or photographs, is below.
