Stange as it seems, about 8:50 a.m. Thursday, June 27th, as I was walking to my car, I spotted 2 Scott's Orioles in a palm tree outside my apartment building in Coral Gables. One flew away but the other remain jumping from branch to branch for several minutes giving me a good look at him. The one I observed was a mature male. I went back inside and check in my Sibley and there isn't any doubt to me that they were Scott's Orioles. Is this possible? How could Scott's Orioles get to Coral Gables, FL?
