It has a distinctly notched tail and the color blends on the breast (this is a bit hidden because the frontal shot is rather overexposed, but it s there). It s true that the bill looks a little small, but it still seems big for Wesstern. While Western will sometimes show a notched tail due to molt, it would not show the blended color on the breast. There s also no sign of white edging on the tail feathers. I d go with Tropical/Couch s.
Are the photos really cropped to the pixel level? It would be easier to tell if they had preserved more detail.
