A (silent) Tropical/Couch's kingbird was photographed at the same site on 22 Dec 2013 by David Bernstein, perhaps the same individual as Larry's bird.
Larry's photo represents the (at least) 46th Tropical/Couch's kingbird in Florida, with (at least) 11 identifiable as Tropical Kingbird by vocalizations captured on audio or video. No Couch's Kingbird in Florida has been similarly documented, but at least four individuals have been identified as Couch's based on call notes heard.
