Alexander Harper, Rangel Diaz, Brehan Clare Furfey, and I set out early this morning to bird the length of main park road in Everglades National Park. We observed the previously reported American Flamingo fly by the Flamingo Amphitheater at around 915AM from east to west.
We also had an excellent variety of waterfowl for the park at West Lake Park, including several Redhead. Other ducks included Northern Shoveler, American Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Ring-necked Duck, Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, and Ruddy Duck. Mrazek Pond added Green-winged and Blue-winged Teal for a ten duck day in the Everglades.
