C-111 canal birding

I rode my bike out along the C-111 canal this morning. About a mile out on the road that is on the east side of the canal, I had two Scissor-tailed Flycatchers and three or four Western Kingbirds. Once you go past the long left curve you will see a covert that goes under the road. About 100-200 yards past this is where the birds were feeding on the top of Strangler Fig trees. There is a large grassy area east of this spot so you can't miss it. Lots of swallows and raptors here as well.
