I have always known it as L-31W canal (see my post below at page 8 of 16) and enlarge the picture on your monitor. Most Birders I know generally give "clicks" (feet, yards, miles)as Larry did to exactly point where on the canal bank. Considering that its all farm fields to the east and pine land to the west you can't go that wrong/ That particular "dog-leg" isn't all that long either. Frog-pond I believe more generally refers to the area south across the highway
