Biscayne National Park will be conducting our Christmas Bird Count (CBC) on Friday, Dec 19th from 8AM until 3PM. We will meet at the screened in porch under park headquarters to go over some boating safety information and review the sampling protocol for the event. We will split into teams and travel via boat to various locations throughout the park to identify and record every bird we observe. Each team will break for lunch at Boca Chita Key before returning to the park headquarters to rally & tally. Unfortunately, boat capacity is limited therefore we must limit the number of participants. If you'd like to participate, please contact me in advance so I can sign you up and reserve your place on a boat. Please consider joining us for this annual event.
