I have been listening to several red-tailed hawks living in Big George Hammock for the last 3-4 weeks.
Two nights ago at about 7:30p.m. the adult flew over the house with several blackbirds harrassing it in the direction of Tamiami Airport where it probably hunts.
The juvenile is extremely vocal from dawn to dusk and stays perched in the upper canopy, center in the hammock. I haven't heard or seen the birds since Sunday morning.
