I tried for the Field Sparrow and the American Golden-Plovers but did not see either today. I did however see 8-Black-bellied Plovers, Least Sandpiper, Greater Yellowlegs, Dunlin, Semipalmated Plover and Killdeer. I nice bird to see there were two AMERICAN PIPITS! These were first seen by the puddle closest to the mound on the north side. They were then scared by a Merlin and went east to another large puddle due east of the mound next to the tree line. They stayed there for a while and then got scared and went back to the original puddle on the north side of the mound.
