Mess o' kites at Lucky Hammock!

I went by Lucky Hammock this morning just because I haven't for a long time and saw 20 swallow-tailed kites cruising around! A few were juveniles and some were being attacked by local red-winged blackbirds. That Dickcissel is still there, too, singing his fool head off and acting aggressive towards blackbirds. Anybody seen a mate with him?

There was also a Glossy Ibis; can't remember if that species is on The List yet or not.

Is it migration yet???
