Funny story about that.... At Ding Dong (that is the Touron birding location on the West Coast of Flori-Duh) I got so tired of having to answer the question "Are those pink birds Flamingos?" and getting roundly chastised when I told folks that they were spoonbills that a group of us would just tell folks that they were Flamingos and let it go.... then there were those that had to debate that with us so I came up with the Crystal Fiver Nuclear Power Plant yarn -- radiation induced mutations caused them to have malformed bills and the "hair loss" was a result of "radiation sickness." That was a real hoot! At least it made the touronn presumption that Big Lens = Touron Guide a bit of fun for us....
