Kendale Lakes Park in the interior of Miami-Dade county had an eclectic mix of passage migrants and 'winter' birds today. Palm Warblers have arrived in force, while an early Blue-headed Vireo was a pleasant surprise. Bay-breasted and Tennessee Warbler were around in multiples, concentrating around a fruiting Ficus tree. List below:

Red-eyed Vireo: 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 7
Black-and-white Warbler: 2
Tennessee Warbler: 4
American Redstart
