After many attempts, just saw my first white-tailed kite today at 11am in Everglades National park. Spent about half an hour watching the bird, so Imagine my surprise when it landed on a lone bare tree, and was joined by a second individual.
On the drive back. also spotted a dark morph Swainson's hawk
