Every one of the more than 50 accepted reports of BAMO in Florida has been coastal. I wouldn't give any credence to a report of one so far inland without at least a detailed description.
Although I contribute to it, eBird remains -- and will probably always remain -- a very poor source for rare-bird distribution, given that the "rare bird alert" phase far exceeds the speed of the review phase. It's still a critical flaw in the eBird system.
