Too bad it is a desert - we saw a Hooded and a Swainson's Warbler there yesterday and several of the more common migrants.
Glad the later follow up pointed out that a green Painted Bunting might be a first-year male. In Florida in the winter, even in-hand, one cannot tell the sex of a green.
