These posts are interesting in so far as I would not even think of reporting one such sighting. I have had two "come to me" over the last 15 years and both were obviously pets. Considering the recent hurricanes in our area I wonder if any of these otherwise exotic species (voiceless geese, etc.) are worth mentioning. At Wakodahatchee a Road Island Red rooster was spotted...but everyone in the know realized it came from the subdivision next door.

So, how and who makes the value judgment that such abberations should be reported? Note, I mentioned reported as I have no input on "listings" official or otherwise.

It is similar to myna birds that were common as pets in Ft. Lauderdale in the mid 50's. Now I see them reported. Is it of interest to report such things?
