Haha, thank goodness it is what we thought it was, I CAN spell relief. Thanks Robin and all of you! We get lucky and it's definitely not all me. Alyssa and Jeannette are awesome and are almost always with me. They like to get out at lunch, after work and even weekends to make a great team and the best of times. I get a lot of "come here, I don't know what this is" and that works for me!!!!
In addition, everyone in the birding community has been great and more helpful than I would have ever imagined. I sent some horrible pics to a few birders and got immediate responses and Angel and Mariel went out and confirmed further, thanks guys!!! There are too many of you to list!!!
We are still learning and don't know exactly what's rare and what's not so I don't always know when to post on the board and when not. Sorry about the Townsend's. We saw it last year in the Annex and I didn't give it a second thought. Chalk it up to my inexperience. My bad, it definitely was on eBird and I will try not to miss something like that again.
Thanks EVERYONE for the kinds words, all of your help and friendships. Getting off my soapbox now. Get outside and find some more birds we haven't seen ;)!
