Hello All. Although the Key West Quail Dove was heard on several occasions in the morning and likely in the early afternoon (Golden Orb Trail; in-between the Poisonwood sign and blue flagging), no one was able to catch identifiable glimpses of the bird. Of note though, a dove spp. was briefly observed by a birder (though not identified due to visual obstructions) and reported as being on the ground and ~ 60 feet east (i.e., away from the trail) of the blue flagging in the thick vegetation.
