This afternoon we hit up Kendall Indian Hammocks Park. Migrants weren't abundant, but a light morph Short-tailed Hawk perched in a pine was awesome! The shortie was being mobbed by a gang of jays, mockingbirds and woodpeckers, they followed the hawk through the park until we lost sight of it.

We also picked up our first Palm Warblers, Yellow-billed Cuckoo and Chucks-will-widow of the season. Common Nighthawks continue to migrate past the park in the late afternoons. Migration is picking up folks, get out and enjoy!

Nature is Awesome
