The bird was refound around 9:30 a bit farther down Golden Orb Trail right where Rafael originally found the bird. From the location I described, continue walking down the trail (maybe 300 feet?) to a Gumbo Limbo with carved initials and names on it. The tree is on the right side of the trail. An arrow has been drawn into the soil pointing towards where the bird was seen here, as well as at the second point closer to the parking lot that I described in the previous post.

The Golden Orb Trail is accessed from the back side of the parking lot, but do not take the boardwalk that begins at the bathrooms.

A number of thrushes, vireos, warblers and Bobolinks were also moving through. We had several Veery in the vicinity, along with Prothonotary and Tennessee Warblers.

Back at Curry Hammock State Park, we are findings number of new arrivals. Among a strong pulse of warblers was a Palm.
