Paddle to Snake Bight

This morning I paddled into Snake Bight, from Christian Point to Gibby Point (NW shore). I recorded 50 species (in case you're wondering, Roger, this was during a day off!):

Brown Pelican: 8
Little Blue Heron: 55
Snowy Egret: 230
Tricolored Heron: 50
YC Night-Heron: 2
Osprey: 2
Spotted Sandpiper: 3
Great Blue Heron: 8 white and 2 blue
Laughing Gull: 350
Red-bellied Woodpecker: 1
White Ibis: 30
White-eyed Vireo: 3
Belted Kingfisher: 1
Green Heron: 2
Least Sandpiper: Present
Semipalmated Sandpiper: Present
Western Sandpiper: Present (if I tried to count peeps I'd still be there!)
Barn Swallow: 30
Clapper Rail: 2 (heard only)

Prairie Warbler: 3
Roseate Spoonbill: 50
Lesser Yellowlegs: 20
Semipalmated Plover: 40

Reddish Egret: 8 dark and 2 white morph

Wilson's Phalarope: 3
Red-necked Phalarope: 2 (at far NW end of "lagoon" behind mudflats, swimming in typical energized, erratic fashion, with one of the Wilson's Phalaropes, allowing for a great comparison of size and field marks)
