A comparatively slow morning to 9/12, Moe Morrissette (California) and I still managed to find a male Canada Warbler at the beginning of the campground, just beyond the campground gate. It was very flighty since the campground was full and it is adjacent to US-1. We felt it flew out of a stand of seagrapes and crossed to the west side of US-1.
Other migrants in the park: Lesser Yellowlegs, Solitary Sandpiper, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Common Nighthawk, Chuck-will's-Widow, Least Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo, seven other warbler species, and several groups of Bobolinks overhead.

A Black-whiskered Vireo feeding another begging Black-whiskered was surprising; it seems to be getting a bit late for that.
